AMAN has officially opened Amanvari, its first resort in Mexico, set along the Sea of Cortez inside the 1,500-acre Costa Palmas community near Los Cabos.
The intimate 18-casita retreat on Baja California Sur’s East Cape features terraces with private heated pools, outdoor showers and fireplaces. The onsite Aman Spa and Wellness centre includes a Temazcal, hydrotherapy, private treatment rooms, a 24-hour fitness centre and more.
JW Marriott Mount Kenya Rhino Reserve Safari Camp
JW Marriott Mount Kenya Rhino Reserve Safari Camp is now open in the Solio Game Reserve, a 45,000-acre private conservancy renowned for rhino conservation.
The camp’s 19 tented suites feature sustainable, Kenyan-inspired design, blending luxury with nature to create an intimate retreat for guests to connect with the landscape and have the opportunity to view diverse wildlife through guided day and night drives. Each has an outdoor living area on a private deck, a plunge pool, and roll-up canvas walls that dissolve the line between your sofa and the savannah at the pull of a strap.
The property is located between the snows of Mount Kenya and the jagged peaks of the Aberdare Range and marks the brand’s first safari camp. Along with Africa’s largest populations of both black and white rhinos, travellers can expect to spot leopards, lions, waterbuck, zebras, Thomson’s gazelles and prolific birdlife.
