Platform has several new features for users

Tahiti Tourisme has officially launched what it describes as an improved Tahiti Specialist Program for Canadian advisors, featuring an enhanced approach to how the destination trains, rewards, and supports travel advisors selling the French Polynesian destination.

In addition to an enhanced e-learning platform, the program features a completely new interface, more user-friendly searchability and a tailored experience for each unique user.

Among new highlights cited by Tahiti Tourisme are flexible learning modules across mobile, desktop, and offline platforms; built-in note-taking tools to save and revisit key insights; streamlined access to airlines, hotels, and the best industry partners for the Canadian market; one-click registration for webinars and events; and a dedicated Tahiti Specialist community to interact and network with.

Existing Tahiti Specialists will retain everything they’ve earned previously, including tier status, badges, booking history, and years in the program.

“The new Tahiti Specialist Program will be extremely valuable to Canadian travel advisors because it delivers a more gamified and engaging overall experience to go with a modern, user-friendly portal and new content across all five archipelagos that is compatible across desktop and mobile. For established advisors, uploading bookings and climbing levels is simplified; for advisors that are new to French Polynesia, the program offers an approachable way to learn all of the basics that they need to know to start selling The Islands of Tahiti. Plus, there are new gamification features integrated that make the platform,” Zara Turner of Tahiti Tourisme Canada says. “It’s also worth noting, tiers established by agents through the old program are carried over to the new program, as is all of the data associated with agents’ accounts.  AI has also been integrated into the platform to help facilitate sales validation and to assist agents with basic tasks like note taking.”

Turner says Tahiti Tourisme believes it will reach more agents in this country, thanks to its new product.

“There is a core group of agents across Canada that have exceptional knowledge of the destination and a long history selling it successfully from coast-to-coast. Of course, there’s always an opportunity to educate more agents about the destination and we hope that the new Tahiti Specialist Program will help us achieve this goal by delivering a more user-friendly and dynamic platform that they can leverage,” Turner says. “Canadian travel advisors are extremely important partners for us, and we are committed to continuing to strengthen those relationships through education, engagement and destination experiences. Their expertise and recommendations play an important role in helping Canadian travellers discover The Islands of Tahiti.”

Turner says Tahiti will unquestionably be appreciated by Canadians who visit it.

“The Islands of Tahiti offer a unique combination of spectacular nature, authentic Polynesian culture, exceptional hospitality and a remarkable variety of experiences across 118 islands and archipelagos,” she continues. “For advisors, that means they can create highly personalized trips for different traveller profiles, whether clients are seeking luxury, authentic culture, outdoor adventure or anything in between. We understand that French Polynesia is a long way from Canada, but that distance is also part of what makes the destination feel so authentic, culturally rich and remote. Research tells us that Canadians are seeking authentic, meaningful travel experiences more than ever before and we believe strongly that the experiences you can have in the destination are well worth the journey.”

Interested agents can visit tahitispoecialist.org to explore the new platform.

“Our Tahiti Tourisme Canada team is always available to walk agents through the program’s new features, or answer any other questions that might come up,” Turner adds.
