TRAVELSAVERS Canada marks a quarter-century of empowering travel professionals

TRAVELSAVERS Canada used its annual Dine & Discover events in Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, and Quebec City to celebrate its milestone 25th anniversary with members and partners across the country.

We really wanted to bring our advisors and supplier partners together to celebrate 25 incredible years of TRAVELSAVERS Canada, and to continue inspiring, educating, and supporting the entrepreneurial spirit that drives our network,” Jane Clementino, senior vice-president and general manager of TRAVELSAVERS Canada, told Travel Courier. “Reaching 25 years is a tremendous milestone and something we’re incredibly proud of. It speaks to the strength of our foundations, our values, our principles, and the relationships we’ve built along the way.”

The Toronto event featured over 140 advisors and 30 suppliers on location at Hazelton Manor in Vaughan, Ont. to take part in the celebration.

“As we look to the future, we’ll continue to evolve with the industry, stay bold in our approach, and always prioritize quality over quantity. TRAVELSAVERS Canada will remain focused on being top of mind in the travel landscape, while never losing sight of what has made us who we are,” she shared. “Next year we’re growing again. Toronto will have two events, one in the east and one in the west, so we can reach even more of our amazing advisors.”

TRAVELSAVERS Canada currently has over 300 agents currently affiliated with its invitation-only membership, a significant growth from its initial first 17 agencies. Agencies have access to initiatives such as Travel Club, OnlineXpress, cruiseexpress, and The Affluent Traveler Collection. To this day, TRAVELSAVERS Canada continues to uphold its founding principles: fostering collaboration, promoting professional excellence and supporting advisors through industry-leading programs and resources.

Notably, the KORE program to train new travel advisors is relaunching as a modern digital platform to engage learners better and help attract needed professionals to the field.

With new interactive tools, modules on current topics of interest, and flexible content delivery, KORE can now be customized for the needs of an agency as well as deliver a high-quality experience to an individual learner.

“The travel industry is evolving at lightning-fast speed,” said Diana Hnatov, director of sales and services for KORE. “Agencies and advisors need help to stay ahead of trends and maintain a competitive edge. KORE’s upgraded learning experience will give them that boost they need to prosper in this industry today and tomorrow.”
