The latest hotel and resort updates in Thailand, Mallorca and beyond

Andaz One Bangkok
Andaz One Bangkok is now open in the Thai capital, as part of the One Bangkok district, which comprises workplaces, retail zones, luxury residences, hotels, art and culture, open and green spaces, and a live entertainment arena.
 
The property features 244 rooms and suites ranging from 38 square metres to the expansive 137 sqm Poolhouse and the 197 sqm Presidential Suite. Notably, most rooms and the infinity pool look over Lumphini Park.
 
On the culinary side, the hotel offers Jǐng (Chinese cuisine), Andaz Terrace (Asian-influenced al fresco dining), and Piscari ( a coastal Mediterranean rooftop supper club).
Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra

Located in Calvià near Puerto Portals, Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca is set to welcome its first guests this spring.

The property will debut with 131 rooms and suites, an array of restaurants and bars, a signature a wellness sanctuary, extensive leisure facilities and curated guest experiences.

The resort will offer Mediterranean views, framed by Aleppo pines and the dramatic coastline. The intimate retreat features exclusive access to two secluded coves. 

Hyatt Centric Wynwood

Plans are underway to develop Hyatt Centric Wynwood two blocks from the popular Wynwood Walls. The eight-story project is set to have 116 guest rooms, six of which are to be spacious one-bedroom suites.

The hotel will feature amenities including 2,000 square feet of meeting space, a rooftop pool and bar, a 5,900-square-foot restaurant, and a 3,000-square-foot rooftop bar and lounge

Construction is anticipated to begin in spring 2026, with an opening date planned for early 2028

The Mandapa River Estate

Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, in Ubud, Bali, has just unveiled The Mandapa River Estate, the property’s reimagined three-bedroom villa.

Situated just beside the resort’s 500-year-old temple, a hand-carved wooden gate adorned with the island’s flora symbolizes the boundary between the human world and the realm of spirits, the Mandapa River Estate spans 21,000 square feet and features three private rooms with modern en-suite bathrooms, including a master bedroom with an annexed twin bedroom, accommodating up to nine guests. 

The estate features both indoor and outdoor living spaces, a fully equipped kitchen, and dining areas, including an alfresco pergola surrounded by fragrant gardens of tropical botanicals. The estate boasts a climate-controlled infinity pool.
