Spotlight on new destinations
WestJet’s winter schedule features exciting new destinations and more off-the-beaten-track escapes, each offering Canadian travellers something distinct. Starting December 2025, your clients can travel to some of WestJet’s latest destinations, including:
- Panama City, Panama – Travellers can now explore one of Central America’s most dynamic cities with four times weekly flights from Calgary. Plus, WestJet’s new interline partnership with Copa Airlines gives travel advisors access to 37+ beyond destinations throughout Central and South America. Book your clients to Brazil, Colombia, Argentina and more.
- Guadalajara, Mexico – With twice-weekly flights from Calgary, WestJet is unlocking the cultural capital of Jalisco for your clients.
Tepic (Nayarit), Mexico – For the first time, Canadians gain direct access to the Riviera Nayarit via Calgary. With once-weekly flights, this route offers your clients a gateway to surfing havens like Sayulita and San Blas. - Havana, Cuba – WestJet is adding twice-weekly flights from Toronto. With its colourful streets, timeless architecture and rich cultural rhythms, Havana offers both history and sun.

Beyond the beach
WestJet’s growth isn’t limited to tropical escapes. Their Calgary–Tokyo (Narita) route will increase from three to seven weekly flights, offering daily Asia connectivity. With Mexico City also entering its first winter as a year-round destination, strengthened codeshare agreements—such as WestJet’s partnership with Aeroméxico—extend travellers’ reach to fifteen other cities beyond Mexico City.
