Spending two nights in Las Vegas was just enough to get a taste of what the vibrant destination has to offer. As a city that’s constantly reinventing itself, Travel Courier had the chance to experience a new activity that, as expected, came with a signature Vegas twist. This quick getaway highlighted the world-class experiences Las Vegas can deliver, especially as it continues to evolve into a top-tier hub of sports tourism.
Las Vegas is already known for offering some of the best entertainment anywhere. Drive around the city and you’ll see billboards lining the streets featuring A-list comedians, world-famous musicians and exclusive, only-in-Vegas shows like Cirque du Soleil. Any of these performances would be a headline event in most cities around the world but in Vegas, they’re just part of the everyday lineup.
In April, Las Vegas played host to one of the most spectacular live sporting events in the world—WrestleMania 41. Steeped in lore for its loyal fanbase and welcoming to newcomers, the event drew record-breaking crowds who flocked to the city to be part of the excitement. Meet-and-greets, autograph signings and WWE-themed parties seemed to pop up at every hotel, all building momentum toward the highly anticipated two-night main event. The entire city embraced the spectacle. If ever there was a perfect match, this was it. WWE, the pinnacle of entertainment-focused sports, met Las Vegas, the Entertainment Capital of the World. With storytelling, lights and larger-than-life stars beloved by fans and non-fans alike, the synergy between WWE and Vegas created an unforgettable experience amplified by the city’s signature flair.
And there’s still plenty more unique entertainment in store for 2025. From the National Finals Rodeo in December to NASCAR’s South Point 400 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Oct. 12, Vegas continues to prove that it welcomes all types of visitors. For your clients, there’s always something incredible happening in Las Vegas. Other big news for the destination is the Athletics’ baseball stadium launching in 2028, which had its groundbreaking earlier this month.
F1X Las Vegas
Formula One made its Las Vegas debut in 2023, and in just two years, it’s become one of the most spectacular events on the F1 calendar. Since its launch, the city has thrown its full support behind the November race, with hotels, attractions, and local partners collaborating to elevate the experience.
The all-new F1X Las Vegas is a 20,000-square-foot permanent attraction located at Grand Prix Plaza. We got a sneak peek before the doors officially opened—and we can confirm that F1 fans and first-timers alike will find something to love. Inside, guests can explore F1 history and view rare, never-before-seen-in-North-America artifacts.
Ideal for families, groups, and corporate events, the Design Studio lets visitors use state-of-the-art modelling software to design and virtually test their own F1 car. Participants can compete against each other in a simulated race to see who takes the checkered flag. For thrill-seekers, the F1-inspired go-kart track delivers a white-knuckle experience. This purpose-built circuit incorporates elements of the actual Las Vegas Grand Prix layout. Drivers can hit speeds up to 30 mph in this high-octane, family-friendly race.
After the adrenaline rush, guests can unwind at the Paddock Club on the second floor, enjoying cocktails and bites while planning their next Vegas adventure. It’s the perfect way to end the day or gear up for what’s next in a city that never sleeps.
When your clients are done racing they will be primed to come back for the real deal. The Las Vegas Grand Prix is back from Nov. 22–25. Now in its third year of a 10-year contract with Formula 1, the event continues to grow in excitement and prestige each year. Notably, Karly Melo, PR representative, Canada for the LVCVA shared that some really good packages have been developed this year to make the event more attainable for all travellers and various budgets.
What makes the Las Vegas Grand Prix truly unique is its track, which winds through a city packed with five-star hotels, rooftop bars, and exclusive viewing spots. These elements — and other special touches — can truly elevate your clients’ race weekend experience.
Hotel Spotlight: Wynn & Encore
One of the best parts of working with trusted partners is knowing your clients will be taken care of—and few deliver like Wynn Las Vegas. Frequently referred to as the Gold Standard of Vegas hospitality, Wynn and Encore are synonymous with excellence. With a combined 4,750 rooms, Wynn and Encore can feel like a destination unto themselves. The 60,000-square-foot Encore Beach Club is an unmatched daytime party scene, ideal for clients looking to let loose in luxury.
But the experience doesn’t stop there—Wynn is also a world-class foodie destination. With 10 fine dining restaurants, it’s home to Wing Lei, the first Michelin-starred Chinese restaurant in North America. Another standout: the Four Sixes Steakhouse, a pop-up venue named after the legendary ranch featured in the hit show Yellowstone, and known for serving top-tier prime cuts sourced straight from the ranch itself.
Aside from all the world-class dining options, perhaps the most iconic place to indulge is the buffet—specifically, The Buffet at Wynn. Whether you’re going for brunch or dinner, it’s highly recommended. Even if you’ve been before, each visit offers something new, as Executive Chef Craig Herber and his team update the menu seasonally. Rest assured, signature offerings like the seafood and carving stations are always part of the experience.
Getting to Las Vegas in 2025 couldn’t be easier, with multiple daily flights from five major Canadian airports. Whether it’s your client’s first visit or their twentieth, they’re sure to discover new experiences and exciting surprises waiting for them.
