Couples Resorts teams up with the JTB to put the spotlight on Jamaican resorts
Earlier this month Couples Resorts hosted an evening filled with Jamaican flair for CAA travel advisors at the CAA Head Office in Ottawa in partnership with the Jamaica Tourist Board.
Following a successful day at the CAA Conference held at the Fairmont Chateau Laurier, the exclusive event welcomed a group of top-producing agents and managers for an engaging and culturally immersive evening designed to capture the essence of Jamaica and the Couples Resorts brand. The immersive event included a vibrant tie-dye station and a Jamaican dry rub station to give guests a taste of the island’s rich culinary heritage.
“It was such a pleasure to spend the evening with our incredible CAA NEO partners,” said Francine Allen, director of sales Canada for Couples Resorts. “This event was about showing appreciation, reminding our agents of what makes our brand so special, and bringing a little piece of Jamaica to Ottawa in the most authentic way. At Couples Resorts, we don’t just sell vacations we create stories that couples carry with them forever.”
Throughout the event, the advisors were able to connect with Couples Resorts, the Jamaica Tourist Board, airline partners, and other industry suppliers.
“The event served as a powerful reminder of what makes Jamaica one of the most desirable destinations for Canadians and what makes Couples Resorts the standout choice for romance and relaxation,” Allen told Travel Courier.
She also took the opportunity to share a reminder of what sets Couples Resorts apart, including, “its dedication to creating unforgettable moments through adults-only romance, world-class service, and the warm, genuine spirit of Jamaica.”
Meanwhile, Oral Chambers, a newly appointed business development manager for the JTB, echoed the sentiment, “Jamaica remains a leading destination for Canadian travellers, and this kind of immersive experience helps advisors connect emotionally with the island. We’re proud to work alongside Couples Resorts and CAA NEO to strengthen those bonds.”
Also in attendance were Patricia Marques, managing director for CAA, and Karen Taaffe, product development, travel and groups, both of whom shared their appreciation for the continued collaboration, commitment to agent education, and shared vision for delivering exceptional travel experiences.
