From the shores of Miches to Fairmont's debut in Japan, here are the latest hotel and resort openings

Fairmont Tokyo

Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has debuted in Japan with the opening of Fairmont Tokyo on Canada Day, July 1. Just 13 minutes from Haneda Airport and six minutes from both the Tokyo and Shinagawa Stations, the hotel features 217 rooms (including 29 suites) with views of Tokyo Tower and Tokyo Bay, designed by BAR Studio to blend Japanese artistry and urban vibrancy.

The hotel occupies floors 35 to 43 in the new Blue Front Shibaura Tower South, offering clients memorable views. The hotel offers seven dining and drinking venues, including Kiln & Tonic for wood-fired pizzas, Vue Mer for French and Japanese cafe culture, and Migiwa and Totsuji for sushi and teppanyaki.

Zemi Miches Punta Cana All‑Inclusive Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton

Zemi Miches Punta Cana All-Inclusive Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton is now open in Miches, Dominican Republic. The property is Hilton’s first all-inclusive Curio Collection resort in the Dominican Republic.

The 500-room resort offers 14 dining venues, bars and lounges, kids club programming, multiple pools, and Club Azure, a premium category with exclusive benefits.

Located about 100 km west of Punta Cana International Airport, Miches is a lesser known coastal town that combines an idyllic fishing village’s charm with nature preserves and palm-lined beaches, providing tranquility and a sense of off-the-beaten-path adventure.

Monachira Camp

Monachira Camp, the latest addition to Machaba Safaris’ portfolio, is now open. Notably, the new camp is one of a few camps in the region to offer year-round water safaris in the Okavango Delta. While game drives are available, Monachira Camp is designed around water-based exploration. Guests can glide through papyrus-fringed channels by mokoro or motorboat, encountering elephants, lion, leopard, and rare antelope species along the way.

Monachira Camp offers eight eco-conscious luxury tents (twin or double) and two family tents, each featuring indoor and outdoor showers, private outdoor lounges with daybeds, and shaded canvas areas. For added relaxation, guests can treat themselves to personalized in-room spa treatments. Two guide rooms are also available for hosted groups.

The property features a designed lounge, open-air dining area, curated curio shop, beach bar, and refreshing plunge pools.

Secrets Baby Beach Aruba

The adults-only, all-inclusive Secrets Baby Beach Aruba opened earlier this summer, marking the first Inclusive Collection branded property on the island of Aruba. Situated near its namesake Baby Beach Bay on the island’s southeastern coast, Secrets Baby Beach Aruba features 304 suites, regional and international cuisine at four à la carte gourmet restaurants such as Pan-Asian and South American fusion options, an elevated, a curated buffet, a café and a grill, along with 24-hour in-room dining options.
