Checking out the latest hotel and resort updates

W Sardinia Poltu Quatu

W Sardinia Poltu Quatu is a five-star luxury lifestyle resort built into granite cliffs on Sardinia’s northeast coast, between Porto Cervo and Baia Sardinia.

The property features 57 rooms and suites, including two Penthouse Suites, a marina-front seafood restaurant, a signature W Lounge, WET Deck, AWAY Spa, and FIT, the brand’s take on the hotel gym.

Hard Rock Hotel Malta

Hard Rock Hotel Malta officially debuted earlier this month following a celebratory guitar smash ceremony.

The resort, which marks the group’s first hotel on the island, features 397 rooms and suites, including 25 sea-view suites and two executive club floors.

Notably, there are 11 swimming pools and over 10 food and beverage venues, anchored by a 1,400-square-metre Hard Rock Cafe.

The First Cortina

The Pavilions Hotels & Resorts is opening The First Cortina in Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy this December. The new 76-key luxury property is designed around one of the Dolomites’ greatest assets: the view.  Each room has a private balcony overlooking the UNESCO-protected peaks. The property also features a dedicated sauna, Turkish bath and a panoramic pool extending slightly outdoors through sliding glass doors
