Marriott Isla Verde Beach Resort
Marriott Isla Verde Beach Resort in Puerto Rico has reopened following a $38 million investment, bringing a refreshed era to this oceanfront property.
The renovation included a complete modernization of the 260 guest rooms, all with balconies, a redesign of the lobby and social areas, enhancements to the culinary concepts, new service areas and infrastructure upgrades to optimize the guest experience.
The property also features direct beach access and a strategic location minutes from Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport.
Beachview Villas Sanibel
Beachview Villas has opened on Sanibel Island in Florida with 22 Gulf-view villas on the site of the former Beachview Cottages, which were destroyed by Hurricane Ian in 2022.
The new property features 10 350-square-foot guest villas, 11 600-square-foot one-bedroom villas and a 2,100-square-foot four-bedroom deluxe villa with four bathrooms and a full kitchen. Amenities include a pool, event lawn and beach boardwalk, with equipment available for shelling and cycling.
Avani Queenstown
This month, Minor Hotels is debuting Avani Queenstown, its second New Zealand property. Formerly Oaks Shores Resort, the lakefront hotel has been transformed to meet the brand’s standards as a premium lifestyle hotel.
Wellbeing is woven throughout the experience, with AvaniSpa offering space to reset and recharge, and AvaniFit delivering a modern approach to fitness that keeps pace with every kind of traveller.
The Ritz-Carlton, Chicago
The Ritz–Carlton, Chicago has completed a multi-million dollar renovation of its 26 iconic Lakeside Suites, which were updated to reflect a more modern aesthetic inspired by the Windy City’s contemporary skyline and views of Lake Michigan.
Designed by Billy Quimby Design, the suites feature residential-inspired interiors, custom casework, and high-end materials like Italian leather and cerused white oak.
The property, which marked its 50th anniversary last year, is set on the Magnificent Mile and close to the upscale boutiques of Michigan Avenue and Oak Street.
