Ramsay's Kitchen makes its Virginia debut at Caesars Danville

A newish entrant in Virginia’s lodging scene can count on some culinary star power to attract attention.

Caesars Virginia, found in the southern Virginia town of Danville, counts a Ramsay’s Kitchen restaurant among its features, with the eatery being the first in Virginia to bear the name of famed celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.

And, says Chris Albrecht, senior vice president and general manager of the property, the eatery is a draw.

“Dining is integral to the hospitality experience and a big driver of what makes Caesars Virginia a premier, destination resort,” Albrecht says. “Since opening, there’s been strong demand for the Ramsay’s Kitchen experience among guests in the region. In some cases, the excitement around experiencing Gordon Ramsay’s first restaurant in the Commonwealth is motivating guest visitation and our partnership with one of the world’s most famous chefs continues to help attract top culinary talent in the area. Being home to Gordon’s first restaurant in the Commonwealth strengthens our position as a world-class destination resort.”

Multi-Michelin-starred chef and television personality Ramsay has become a household name, famous not only for his culinary creations but his blunt, tell-it-like-it-is personality.

Caesars Virginia says the restaurant “offers a glimpse into Chef Ramsay’s personal kitchen and takes guests on a culinary journey inspired by his travels around the world. The menu features Chef Ramsay’s signature items, including the legendary Beef Wellington, delectable Crispy Skin Salmon, mouthwatering Pan Seared Scallops, and a 24-ounce Bone-In Ribeye. Starters include Virginia Oysters, Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes and Sticky Chicken Wings.”

The dessert menu offers traditional British treats, such as Chef’s Signature Sticky Toffee Pudding and modern favourites, such as Vanilla Mascarpone Cheesecake.

“Located adjacent to Hotel Registration steps off the casino floor, Ramsay’s Kitchen immerses diners in a modern ambiance with rich furnishings and a cozy, intimate setting. Ramsay’s Kitchen at Caesars Virginia is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and seats 250. The restaurant also offers a private dining room and an outdoor patio with iconic views of Danville’s historic Three Sisters. This is Chef Ramsay’s first restaurant in Virginia, the resort continues.

Caesars Virginia adds that it has “Roman luxury meets Southern charm. Located in historic Danville, Virginia, the all-new destination resort brings the iconic Caesars brand to the heart of Southern Virginia.”

The Caesars brand is known for touches recalling the ancient Roman civilization.

Caesars Virginia is a new destination resort “blending the iconic Caesars brand with the heart of Southern Virginia, in extraordinary style. The full service resort opened in its entirety in December 2024, and introduced world-class amenities including a full-service spa and pool; six unique dining experiences including Ramsay’s Kitchen – the region’s first restaurant by Multi-Michelin-starred chef Gordon Ramsay, as well as beloved local favorites in the 500 Block; upscale bars and lounges; endless gaming action with over 1,500 of the latest slots, 79 live-action table games, 48 electronic table games, a WSOP Poker Room, and a Caesars Sportsbook; and non-stop entertainment.”

The Pantheon, the property’s 50,000-square-ft meetings and convention centre, which dually serves as a 2,500-seat live entertainment venue, has “solidified Caesars Virginia as leader in entertainment on the East Coast – home to big names in music and comedy, including legendary artists like Heart and ZZ Top,” the resort continues. “The 320-room hotel, which has experienced full occupancy on weekends since its debut, offers stunning floor-to-ceiling panoramic views of the Southern Virginia skyline and a majestic monument to Danville’s rich history with its “Three Sisters” smokestacks. Since opening, the property has far exceeded expectations, welcoming over 2 million visitors to the property in its first year. Employing over 1,200 Team Members, and with a deep commitment to ensuring the community it serves continues to evolve as a great place to work, live, and play, the property donated over $160,000 to organizations in the area last year through a combination of in-kind and monetary support.”
