Historic train station Tel Aviv’s newest entertainment centre

The Tachana entertainment complex will feature a variety of restaurants, cafes and bars, in addition to several stores, including a bookstore-café devoted to art and design literature, shops featuring young Israeli and international designers, a museum and a lifestyle space for fashion and design exhibitions. In addition, the complex will include a children’s activity centre that will host weekly music concerts, an arts and crafts fair on Thursday evenings and an organic farmer’s market on Friday mornings. Rovos Rail to continue operations on Friday

| According to reports, South Africa luxury train Rovos Rail will continue operations tomorrow (April 23) despite yesterday's train derailment outside of Pretoria in which four people were killed and many others injured. Its train from Pretoria to Cape Town will leave on Friday as scheduled, but will use an alternate route as the railway system between the Bosman Street Station and Centruion remains closed. The derailed train was an inbound train from Cape Town to Pretoria. There were 55 people on board at the time of the derailment. |

Economic uncertainty stalls Halifax airport hotel project

| Halifax International Airport Authority (HIAA) has decided to forego development of a new hotel at the airport in the short term, with the option to reactivate the project at some point in the future. "When we considered the slower than expected recovery from the economic recession, the timing isn't right to proceed at this point," says Tom Ruth, president and CEO of HIAA.
